Very few governmental entities shape the daily lives of Southeast residents as directly as our Public Service Commissions (PSCs). Yet, as Powering Louisiana has observed, outside of industry insiders and a handful of beat reporters, many people don’t know what a Public Service Commission is, what it does, or who sits on it.
To bridge that gap, Powering Louisiana and the Southern Renewable Energy Association are compiling accessible resources about PSCs across the Southeast. Our aim is to help demystify the importance of our Commission, and make it easier for people to engage in the regulatory process to have their voice heard.
